Moroccan Tourism Minister Unveils Ambitious Plan

Moroccan Minister of Tourism Adil Douiri announced a $7 billion plan for the construction of 50 hotels annually until 2010, which includes new seaside resorts on the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts.
In an interview published by Al Hayat on Saturday (5 February), Douiri indicated that $3m dollars will be allocated to the promotion of Morocco as a holiday destination in the European, Arab and American markets. (Al Hayat)
