Youth Training Centres Increasing in Tunisia
2004-12-01
According to Al-Horria, the Tunisian government focuses on employing youth through the Tunisian Professional Training Agency (ATFP). In 2004, the ATFP opened four new professional training centres and restructured another 20.
As a result, the ATFP increased its total number of trainees by 8,300 to reach 43,300. Some 20,000 former trainees now work in Tunisia's technology sector. The ATFP aims to raise the number of its trainees to 52,000 by the end of 2005. (albawaba.com)
