Algerian Government to Discuss Draft Bill on Information

Algerian Minister of Communication Boudjemaa Haichour announced that the government plans to discuss a draft bill on information in parliament next month. Dealing mostly with journalistic ethics and advertising issues, the draft will be submitted to parliament's journalism committee only after government approval. Haichour said that over the summer, the committee made recommendations to the draft bill that were taken into consideration. (Liberte)
