The new office will forge trade ties between Europe and the Moroccan private sector
The Facility for Euro-Mediterranean Investment and Partnership (FEMIP) is set to open a Rabat office in 2005. The new office will forge trade ties between Europe and the Moroccan private sector -- a key development issue for the country. Philippe de Fontaine Vive, vice president of the European Investment Bank and in charge of FEMIP, and Taib Fassi Fihri, Moroccan minister delegate for foreign affairs and co-operation, signed the agreement to open the FEMIP office. The volume of loans expected to be signed by the end of this year is 241m euros, up 31 per cent over 2003. (menareport.com)
