The issue is expected to intensify after the local magistrate closed files dealing with the mineworkers on Sunday (31 October). The magistrate's move cancelled what would have been an appeal scheduled for 11 November. According to the AMDH, the magistrate did not bother calling all the witnesses and the procedure was completed too quickly for the defence to prepare its case. (albawaba.com)
