Rabat, Paris Present Joint Proposals on Mediterranean Security

A number of Euromed security and defence co-operation issues were discussed by Morocco and France at the two-day 11th Mediterranean Forum, which ended on Monday (25 October). Moroccan Foreign Minister Mohamed Benaissa said the proposals highlight the importance of dialogue with regards to co-operation. "We deem it necessary to reinforce dialogue and set up co-ordination mechanisms between the EU Political and Security Committee and South-Mediterranean countries," Benaissa said. (MAP)
