Algiers is scheduled to host the 27th conference of the African Parliamentary Union in late November. Chairman of the National Council Amar Sa'edany told KUNA on Sunday (24 October) that an organising committee is working to prepare for the event. "The conference will host 40 African parliamentarians and other dignitaries representing 30 regional and international organisations," he said, adding that it would focus on the role of African parliaments in promoting international trade.
