2004-10-24
The bill also envisions modernising Moroccan enterprises, to better equip them for globalisation
The council of ministers, chaired by King Mohammed VI, late last week combed through the draft budget for 2005. Finance Minister Fathallah Oualalou explained the general highlights of the bill, based on the King’s plan for the next five years. It aims to reinforce cohesion and balance in Morocco through a development policy that devotes 55 per cent of administration and investment budgets to social sectors, the development of rural areas, and the fight against poverty. The bill also envisions modernising Moroccan enterprises, to better equip them for globalisation. (L'Opinion)
