AIDS Stable in Tunisia

The spread of AIDS in Tunisia is under control, according to Jean Michel Delmotte, the official UNICEF representative in Tunisia and local AIDS support group president. Tunisia has recorded 1,200 HIV positive cases since the first case was reported in 1985. Delmotte said while AIDS cases continue to grow in other countries, educational and prevention programs have slowed its spread in Tunisia. (albawaba.com)
