Amazigh Film Festival opens in Ouarzazate

Morocco's 4th National Amazigh Film Festival opened in Ouarzazate on Sunday (October 18th). Film screenings in the city's Taourirt casbah and neighbouring towns during the week-long event include "Tamazirt Ouffela" by director Mohamed Mernich, "Abika" by Mahjoub Ibourk, "Tabrats" by Ali Ait Bouzid and "Id Belâadim" by Said Bahhous, Yacout Info reported. Ouarzazate's annual celebration of Berber cinema and culture includes film criticism workshops at the Institute of Cinema Careers and tributes to artists Fatima Joutane and Id Abderahmane Bourhim.
