UN to repatriate 700 Mauritanians each week

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Monday (October 19th) will resume repatriating Mauritanian refugees from Senegal, PANA reported. The operation was suspended in July due to the rainy season. According to a statement, the UNHCR plans to bring two convoys of about 700 people back to Mauritania each week.
