Captured terrorist's tip prompts successful Algerian army raid

Algerian troops in Hassi Fedoul, Djelfa province, killed four terrorists and seized weapons and vehicles on Sunday (October 4th). Information provided by a terror suspect arrested last week prompted the week-end operation. Three other terrorists were killed Saturday in El Oued province, as part of a security operation against gangs specialised in smuggling weapons for al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.
