Sony signs distribution deal with Algerian multimedia group

Algeria's Hasnaoui Multimedia Group concluded a deal with Sony Gulf FZE on Sunday (September 27th) to become the official distributor of Sony electronic products in Algeria, Tout sur l'Algérie reported. Under the new partnership, Sony will market camcorders, televisions, Blu-Ray units, Playstation 3 and other products at the Sony Centre showroom and other retailers. The company said the move is part of a development strategy to strengthen its position in the North African market.
