Tunisian female writer named to "Future Arab Leaders" list

Emirati magazine Arabian Business named Tunisian writer Samar Mezghani, 21, to its list of "30 Future Arab Leaders", Tunisia Online reported on Saturday (August 29th). The recipient of several international literary awards, Mezghani was listed in the 2000 Guinness Book of Records as the youngest short-story writer in the world.

Indeed, our best wishes for success go to this brilliant, young lady. It is time for young people to take their destinies into their hands, because we, the older people and ancient people, with our antiquated ideas need to give way to the future generations. After our successive failures in terms of peace and humanity, we are going to have to quietly retire before seeing ourselves expelled by Homo humanicus.
