HRW denounces jailing of Western Sahara activist in Morocco

In a statement on Monday (August 31st) Human Rights Watch (HRW) criticised the four-month prison sentence imposed last week on Western Sahara human rights activist Naâma Asfari. Police arrested Asfari on August 14th near Tantan over a reportedly heated exchange of words; he had refused to remove a Western Sahara flag from his keychain.
