Moroccan woman to head UN Human Rights Council committee

One of Morocco's first female diplomats was elected president of the UN Human Rights Council Advisory Committee, MAP reported on Wednesday (August 5th). Halima Embarek Warzazi, a member of the Moroccan human rights advisory council (CCDH), will reportedly work with the committee on issues such as the right to food.
