Amazigh World Congress members detained in Tizi Ouzou

Nine members of the World Amazigh Congress (CMA) were briefly detained by Algerian police on Monday (August 3rd) in Tizi Ouzou, AFP reported. Five Algerians, two Moroccans, a Libyan and a Spanish citizen were arrested after a CMA Federal Council press conference. A police source said the group lacked proper authorisation to hold the press event.
