Tunisian invents subcutaneous micro-chip
2009-07-10
Tunisian engineer Abderrazek Ben Abdallah developed an under skin micro-chip to analyse body signals and make health assessments, TAP reported on Thursday (July 9th). The device has a wireless connection to a server in a hospital to provide readings on blood pressure, body temperature and other health indicators. It also allows distant monitoring of the health of patients.
