American teacher shot dead in Nouakchott

The American director of a computer and English language school in El Ksar was shot and killed Tuesday (June 22nd) in Nouakchott by two young gunmen as part of a failed kidnapping attempt, Journal Tahalil reported. The victim has not yet been identified. According to Reuters, he has lived in Mauritania for six years.
