Amnesty International investigates al-Libi prison suicide

A delegation from Amnesty International is in Libya at the invitation of Seif al-Islam, son of Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi, to investigate the recent suicide of jailed al-Qaeda terrorist Ali Mohamed al-Fakheri, aka Ibn al-Sheikh al-Libi, AFP reported on Monday (May 18th). Al-Libi, 46, who ran an al-Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan, had been serving a life sentence in Libya since his 2006 extradition from Guantanamo.
