Mauritania police disperse protest at Supreme Court

Mauritanian police on Wednesday (April 29th) dispersed a protest organised by opposition coalition National Front for the Defence of Democracy (FNDD) and the Rally of Democratic Forces (RFD) in front of the Supreme Court in Nouakchott, Journal Tahalil reported. The protesters demanded the release of former Prime Minister Yahya Ould Ahmed El Waghef, who remains jailed on charges related to the Air Mauritania liquidation case.
