Khelifa extradition hearing resumes in London

A hearing on Algeria's extradition request for corrupt tycoon Abdelmoumen Rafik Khelifa resumed Monday (February 23rd) in a London court, Liberte reported. Khelifa was sentenced in Algeria to life in prison on fraud charges surrounding the country's largest-ever financial scandal, He is also wanted in France for embezzlement charges and alleged involvement in the collapse of Khalifa Airways, Antinéa Airlines and Khalifa Rent-a-Car. The trial will last until Friday.
