Algeria to help build France's largest mosque

Algeria is helping to finance construction of the largest mosque in France, AFP quoted Algerian National Solidarity Minister Djamal Ould Abbas as saying Sunday (February 8th) in Algiers. The new mosque will be in Marseille, home to a large Algerian expatriate community. Algeria is currently the only donor outside France, but French planners reportedly hope to solicit additional funds.
