Tunisia to celebrate Eid al-Adha on December 8th

The Grand Mufti of Tunisia announced Saturday (November 29th) that Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Monday, December 8th. The holiday is celebrated on the tenth day of the lunar month Dhou Al-Hijja in the Islamic calendar, which began on Saturday, the Grand Mufti said. Eid al-Adha marks the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.
