2008-11-26
British Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Bill Rammell pledged on Tuesday (November 25th) his country’s support to Algeria’s anti-terrorism efforts, through exchanging information and sharing advanced policing methods, local and international press reported. "Both of our countries have been victims of terrorism, against which Algeria has deployed major efforts, and we are ready to help them in those efforts," Rammell is quoted as saying in Algiers. Upon request by Algeria, Britain will also send observers to the 2009 presidential elections in 2009, Rammell said.
