Tunisian president discusses EU advanced status with Portuguese FM

Tunisian-Portuguese relations, regional and international issues, and Tunisia's aspirations to obtain advanced status with the EU were the centre of talks between Portuguese Foreign Minister Louis Amado and Tunisian President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali Friday (November 14th) in Tunis, TAP reported.. Earlier last week, the EU and Tunisia agreed to set up an ad-hoc committee to define the framework of a reinforced partnership and more privileged relations.
