Al-Qaeda regional chief reportedly killed by Algerian Army

Algerian officials identified one of the terrorists killed Sunday during Army operations in the El Asfour mountains as a top commander of al-Qaeda Organisation in the Islamic Maghreb, Echorouk reported on Monday (November 10th). Mohammed Belbachir, aka Abu Idriss, was reportedly the terror group's number two for the Tlemcen region. Since 1994, Algerian courts have passed multiple sentences in absentia against the 55-year-old.

I thank the group for the operation they carried out. We want more victories against the tyrants of the army and their followers. I ask God to shake them. Oh Lord grant victory to Al Qaeda in Algeria.
