2008-10-10

A Moroccan court will render verdicts next Thursday for 52 terror suspects charged in connection with the 2007 Casablanca bombings, APA reported on Thursday (October 9th). Abdelfattah Raydi blew himself up in a Casablanca internet cafe on March 11th, 2007 a month after his brother Ayoub detonated a suicide bomb. Investigations revealed that the Raydi brothers were part of a larger group of terrorists planning suicide attacks in Casablanca. If found guilty, the defendants face sentences ranging from five years to life imprisonment.
