Mauritanian, three Malians arrested for arms trafficking

Mauritanian security services arrested one Mauritanian and three Malian Tuaregs for arms trafficking on Thursday (October 9th), ANI reported. Tracking of large money transfers reportedly led to the arrests. The detainees allegedly supplied weapons from Mauritanian to al-Qaeda fighters in northern Mali and to Tuareg rebel factions.
