UN probe faults security management for 2007 Algiers bombing
2008-10-09
Poor security management, inadequate supervision and training and major lapses in judgment contributed to the 2007 terrorist bombing of the UN offices in Algiers in which 17 UN employees lost their lives, according to a UN report published on Wednesday (October 8th). The independent panel on accountability set up by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to look into the response to the terrorist attack determined that the UN system for grading security risks in Algeria had been "seriously compromised" through politicisation. The panel recommended administrative sanctions against six staff members and disciplinary proceedings against another four. A previous panel led by Algerian Lakhdar Brahimi had also identified flaws in UN security systems.

“Thugs: Thugs Have Come to Power in Algeria” S.O.S.! There are prostitutes and dancers! Algerian doctors are injecting insulin in patients without diabetes! The judges are convening and incarcerating former Algerian soldiers for contempt of court! Women with underage children are being shipped away via France without the fathers’ even knowing! Terrorists are operating with two MI-24 helicopters! The colonels are eating expensive merguez with potatoes intended for the security agents and UN bodyguards! Nezzar, Touati and Benflis are billionaire terrorists! Khalifa Air and Khalifa Bank have dual citizenship and international mailing! The press has been muzzled! Press is financed for false publications! Zouabri’s alleged assassins do not even exist! Nezzar and Touati locate and sell military weapons of war and explosives at 1000 dinars for a Kalashnikov, 2000 dinars for night vision, 20 thousand for a kilogram of TNT, procuring them for initiates though they are classed as deadly! Coroners provide permits to perform burials at night! Border police aid in making the border a sieve with giant holes! The UN’s foreigners are irritating Nezzar, Touati, Benflis and Ouyahia! The list is long! The family stature is an international mess! They are importing carcinogenic Chinese products and blocking European patents!...

The international community maintains its complicit silence with regards to smuggling, counterfeiting, trade in products classified as carcinogenic, “political” assassinations that really only fill the bellies of politicians themselves, false declarations made by officials about their military- and political-profiteering crimes, the appointment of thugs to the ranks of the legislature; ministers and generals distributing oil rents in the name of the economy’s scientific standards and closing theirs eyes to religious assassinations in acquiescence. We are in 2008, and we have had dinosaurs eating up our ministers for 15 thousand years.

To Ahmed/Batna. I really do not understand your comments and doubt anyone can. What is the point you are trying to make brother, your articles seem to be one headline followed by an endless list of weird sub-titles and meaningless proverbs without any content. And what do you mean when you say "We are in 2008, and we had dinosaurs eating up our ministers for 15 thousand years"? You would contribute more to this website if you stick to writing constructive articles in basic English or in a language that you master best, rather than this Java script you keep comming up with.
