Morocco's manufacturing production expands by 4.2% in second quarter of 2008

Morocco's industrial production index of manufactured goods rose by 4.2% in the second quarter of 2008 compared to the same period last year, MAP quoted the Planning Council (HCP) as saying in a statement on Monday (September 14th). The increase was mainly driven by a better agricultural harvest which boosted food processing industries by 3.8%.
