Tunisia invites foreign bids for Enfida port project

Tunisian officials invited eight big foreign investment groups to submit construction and management contract bids for the Enfida port project, TAP reported on Monday (September 15th). According to Development and Cooperation Minister Mohamed Nouri Jouini, the 1.4 billion euro project would improve Tunisia's economic competitiveness and attract more foreign direct investment.

Correction: The city of Enfida, where the new airport Zine Al Abidine Ben Ali is built by a Turkish company according to world standards, is 101 km far from the capital.
