Mauritanian expats launch counter-coup campaign

Mauritanian academics in Europe and the United States have launched an initiative to reverse the August 6th coup and restore constitutional legality, the "For Mauritania" group announced in a press release on Wednesday (September 3rd). The group plans to launch a "broad campaign of contacts and communication with parliamentarians and opinion makers in our host countries to educate them about the reality of what's happening in Mauritania".
