Moroccan poetess receives Arab young poets' award

Moroccan poetess Ikram Abdi won the "Buland Al-Haidari" prize for young Arab poets at the Assilah International Festival, now under way in Morocco, MAP reported on Sunday (August 17th). The organisers dedicated the 2008 edition of the competition to the late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.
