Algiers to host major international energy meeting

Some 1,700 participants and 240 companies from 35 countries are expected to take part in the 4th Algerian Energy Week, scheduled between November 15th and 19th, 2008 in Algiers, El Moudjahid reports. The event is organised by Sonatrach, under the slogan "The new World of Energy: Challenges and Opportunities." The event includes a scientific and technical conference, an international conference on strategic investment opportunities in the energy sector in Algeria and an international oil and gas exhibition.
