French battery recycler to open Algerian plant

French company Recylex plans to open a "giant" used-battery recycling factory in Algeria in December, Tout sur l'Algerie reported on Friday (July 25th). The facility, which will be located in Ain Oussera-in the wilaya of Djelfa, will have a capacity of 20,000 tonnes per year. This represents 15% of all batteries currently treated in Europe.
