Algeria's AEC signs deal on world's largest desalinisation plant

The Algerian Energy Company (AEC) and Singaporean Group Hyflux signed a contract Sunday (July 6th) for the construction of a sea water desalination plant near Oran with a capacity of 500,000 cubic meters per day. According to Algerian Energy Minister Chakib Khelil, this would be the biggest such plant in the world.
