Customs agents seize contraband shipments at Algiers port

Algerian customs officials seized 8 shipping containers of contraband, Echourouk reported on Monday (July 7th). Customs officials said they received information Sunday night which led them to strengthen surveillance at the Algiers port. As part of an Algerian customs crackdown on illegal trafficking, 17 containers of prohibited products have been found in the last two weeks.
