Moroccan finance minister forecasts up to 6.5% economic growth

Moroccan Finance Minister Salaheddine Mezouar said Wednesday (June 19th) that the country's economic growth could reach 6.2-6.5% in the coming years despite an "unstable international economic situation", MAP reported. Mezouar said the government targets 6.8% GDP growth this year. The minister also pointed out that during the past five years and up through April 2008, Morocco's economy created 1.2 million jobs.
