France granted Morocco $2.6m to finance projects within the National Initiative for Human Development. The contract was signed Thursday (November 29th) by Morocco's Finance Minister Salaheddine Mezouar and France's Ambassador to Morocco Jean-François Thibault. MAP reported that the aid is part of the $11.7m in financing French President Nicolas Sarkozy announced during his visit to Morocco in October.
