UNEP honours Moroccan professor Mohamed Besri

The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) presented Moroccan professor Mohamed Besri with the "UNEP Champion Award" for his efforts to promote environmental protection over the past 20 years, MAP said on Wednesday (October 10th). Besri is a professor of plant pathology and integrated production and protection management at the Hassan II Agronomy and Veterinary Institute in Rabat and the University of Nancy, France. He has published more than 110 papers in international and national journals, mostly on the protection of the ozone layer.
