Ben Ali orders reshuffling of RCD leadership

Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali ordered Secretary General Hedi M'henni of the ruling Constitutional Democratic Rally (RCD) to rework the party's leadership. Ben Ali appointed Kamel Haj Sassi as deputy secretary-general in charge of Youth, Education and Culture, Mahmoud M'hiri as deputy secretary-general in charge of External Relations, Faouzia Khaldi as deputy secretary-general in charge of Women and Mahmoud Saied as deputy secretary-general in charge of the Follow up the Future Programme. Ben Ali and M'henni also discussed the RCD's activities during the month of Ramadan, particularly evening lectures and conferences organised by the regional branches. They also reviewed preparations for the next parliamentary season to begin on October 5th.
