French agency to increase aid to Morocco to 150m euros

The French Development Agency (AFD) will increase its aid to Morocco to 150m euros in the period 2007-2009, AFD's CEO Jean-Michel Severino told reporters on Wednesday (July 4th) in Casablanca. The funds will support the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) to fight poverty and social exclusion. AFD is a public institution that funds sustainable development projects, with priority given to Africa, which receives two-thirds of AFD commitments. (MAP)
