Morocco signs agreement to prevent illegal immigration of minors

Morocco and the autonomous government of Catalonia have agreed on a 1.3m euro preventative programme to curb the illegal migration of minors and promote their social and professional integration, MAP reported. The agreement, signed Thursday (July 5th) in Rabat, is called Programme Catalunya Magrib and is financed by the Catalonia government as part of the EU technical and financial programme to assist third-world countries in the fields of migration and asylum (AENEAS).
