Bomb attack in Algeria targets Tizi-Ouzou governor

A bomb exploded on Thursday (July 5th) near the car of the Tizi-Ouzou governor Hocine Mazouz, without harming him, but wounding a policeman, Reuters reported. Also Thursday, a municipal guard and a soldier were killed in the village of Siouan in the Skikda region, El Khabar reported. Al-Qaeda Organisation in the Islamic Maghreb is believed to be behind the attacks.
