Tunisia, Morocco to boost co-operation in communications sector

2007-03-27

Tunisian and Moroccan delegations met Monday (March 26th) in Tunis, under the chairmanship of Tunisian Minister of Communication Rafaa Dkhil and his Moroccan counterpart Nabil Ben Abdallah. The talks focused on strengthening relations between the two countries in the field of communications and bringing the two countries in line with the sector's development internationally. Abdallah said both governments share common interests and policies directed towards liberalisation and the development and implementation of innovations in the field. He also voiced Morocco's will to promote co-operation and initiate joint programmes with Tunisia. Reportedly, a co-operation agreement between the TAP and MAP news agencies will be signed during the meetings. (TAP)
