Morocco's Investment Commission approves $925m investment projects

Morocco’s Investment Commission, chaired by Prime Minister Driss Jettou, approved 12 projects totalling $925m on Tuesday (February 20th). The projects will concentrate on tourism, aeronautics and industry, and are expected to generate 2,240 jobs. The tourism and aeronautics projects are to be implemented mainly in the region of Marrakech, while the industrial projects include the construction of an iron and steel factory in Casablanca. (MAP)
