Casablanca international book fair to kick off on Friday

The annual Casablanca International Book Fair will kick off on Friday (February 9th). Minister of Culture Mohamed Achaâri said that the event will feature at least 60 young Moroccan writers. The French community of Belgium-Wallonia-Brussels will be the guest of honour. The organizers expect 59 countries to take part in the cultural festival, which includes exhibitions round tables, spectacles, conferences, readings, presentations and book signings. (Liberation)
