Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali ordered a partial government reshuffle after meeting with Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi on Thursday (January 25th) to discuss business centre activities. Reportedly, the reshuffle aims at revitalizing the centres and optimising their efficiency by involving experts in the fields of engineering, economy and finance. The new appointments include Lazhar Bououni, as Higher Education and Scientific Research minister, Abdelhakim Bouraoui, as the government secretary-general, and several new state secretaries. (TAP)
