The results of the Ousratic "PC for Every Family" project, launched last October, are appreciable, but remain insufficient, the project follow-up committee has concluded. Around 100,000 personal computers (PCs) have been sold so far, committee president Mahieddine Ouahadj said on Monday (14 August). He signed an agreement with Cetelem Algérie, a consumer subsidiary of French bank BNP Paribas. This sixth agreement signed with a financial institution is expected to ease credit procedures, thus boosting project development. (APS, La Nouvelle Republique)
